It begins.

Went to the Fakehouse with Charlie today. We didn't get too much done, but dropped off some cardboard, bribed the occupants with beer (an important step), and came up with some really incredible ideas.

Whatever ya'll are thinking about this party, multiply that by about 1 billion.

This party will be even better than that.

We decided to line the stairs with glow in the dark stars and light it with a blacklight. We have a CD of space sounds we're going to play in the entranceway (which will, of course, be lined with fabric lit from behind with pulsating colored lights.

Went to (nightmarish) Wal-Mart and got some stars, then over to Home Depot to price out some material (light fixtures, pvc piping, etc). We hoping that maybe 20 feet of pvc pipe will allow us to slowly fill the entrance area with smoke (from our smoke machine, of course).

We're T-minus 18 days from the launch date.
